Another tried and testing bespoke product we offer amongst our many formulations is Hull Blacking, a traditional, fast drying, high-build bitumen blacking product for the waterproofing and protection of canal boat hulls from boats to leisure craft to large ships. Fully compatible with steel hulls, when dry, the product forms an odourless and taint-free black smooth film causing no spoiling in the marine environment.
It’s soft bitumen base means scrapes, and bumps are absorbed into the surface of the coating without the chipping effect associated with harder finishes.
