manufacturing companies, founded in 1853 as Sandeman Brothers Ltd
From Murano street in Glasgow, Scotland to our current home in Reading, England we have been manufacturing specialist coatings in the U.K. since 1853. We were founded originally as Sandeman Brothers limited and now later trading as Clydebridge Chemicals (“CBC”) limited. Clydebridge Chemicals Ltd has been established in the Reading area since 1986. Our enviable reputation for quality products, R&D, customer service and attention to detail is why for nearly 170 years we continue to be recognised as one of the oldest and leading toll manufacturers for some of the UK’s and Europe’s largest brands.
